Alana Ruben Free is an Israeli/ Canadian/American writer, artist, produced playwright (The Eden Trilogy/ Beginner at Life), poet (Bowery Women), literary editor (Mom Egg/MER) , liturgist (Az Nashir), documentary film producer (The Last Stand: The Frankie & Joe Tartaglia Story) and active as a relational aesthetics artist (Presence=Present, Esther’s Throne). She has worked in many area of theatre and film: acting, directing, editing, and producing.

I can’t say enough good things about Alana’s talent as a playwright. For many years I taught playwriting in The Department of Dramatic Writing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. I have read the work of many emerging playwrights and have encountered only a few with the talent of Alana.
